SportsShooter Offers Monthly Photo Contest With Prizes

For SportsShooter members in good standing, SportsShooter.com offers a monthly photo contest. The grand prize is a Canon 1D Mark IIN. The Second Place finisher will receive a high-end Canon ImagePrograf IPF5000 large format pigment printer. Third Place winner will take home a Canon EOS 30D digital camera. While SportsShooter’s primary focus is sports photography, this photo contest is open to News and Feature categories as well. Members turn in photos for the first fifteen days of the month. Judging begins on the 16th.

The folks over at Soaphoto offer a free monthly photo contest for amateurs and professionals. Soaphoto is an online photo community where members are able to comment and vote on each others photos.
